When I first reached out to Christine, I was operating on 3 hours of sleep a night. My then 5-month old little man was taking unpredictable naps and waking every 1-2 hours all night long. I resorted to co-sleeping in a desperate attempt to get whatever sleep I could, which left my husband on the couch because I was afraid to have all three of us in bed together. Needless to say, we had a tired, grumpy household! With Christine’s thorough instruction and consistent support, my LJ is now taking 3 consistent naps during the day and sleeping 12 hours each night without wakes! Christine worked with us to find a plan that worked with our schedules and our ultimate goals for our family. We were terrified of how hard it was going to be since he got up so much, and we prepared for the first night to be terrible. He got up once. One time...the first night. And it only got better from there.
Turns out, he needed the rest more than we did. It's now been over 2 weeks and everyone is much happier. My husband and I now share the same bed because Caleb loves his crib, bedtime isn't a nightmare or a scream fest, and he hardly gets up in the night. We are so proud of our little snoozer for learning quickly that he needs sleep to grow and develop and owe Christine so much for showing us the way.

We were so exhausted and didn’t know what to do.
Christine at Bella Luna Sleep Consulting saved our sanity and probably our marriage! Our baby, Sebastian, at 9 months was waking up around 8 or 10 pm and then every hour or two until 4am. We both work full time and we were so exhausted and didn't know what to do. Since this was our second baby and we had no sleep problems with our first, we weren't sure what we were doing wrong. We had talked to our pediatrician team about it several times, but they didn't have any solutions.
Christine idenitified pretty quickly his main problem of being over tired and gave us some great advice to help him sleep more so he would sleep longer. Some of it was hard to do for us personally with our work schedules, but we followed her advice and the results were fantastic!
We had several false starts: I got the flu, then every one got the flu. Sebastian started sleeping longer, only getting up 2 or 3 times a night with just a few of her changes. Once we all recovered from the flu, and we finally started the official sleep training, it was amazing: He slept 12 hours straight without a peep on night 3!!! Not every night was like that, but we felt so much better!!! Then Sebastian got an ear infection a week later. Christine was also again very accommodating and was flexible with her support time with us, and helped us manage that obstacle. Even with an ear infection, he only got up once or twice. Now, after our contract with her has been completed, he sleeps through the night, or just wakes up once or a little early in the morning, but if he wakes up early, he just hangs out quietly in his crib until it's time to get up.

Really listened to my concerns with sleep training triplets
After 5 nights, I went from being awake with my babies most of the night to all of us sleeping most of the night. We still have occasional wake ups, but nothing like before. Christine offered support and encouragement in this emotional journey. I couldn’t simply close the door and hear my babies cry - Christine understood and helped so much. We had such a great experience with Christine and Bella Luna Sleep Consulting! Our 8 month old was waking multiple times a night and needed to be rocked to sleep. He would not self sooth or go to sleep on his own. Napping was AWFUL. However, after 2 weeks with Christine's guidance and support we have a baby who, though he still may cry a bit with falling asleep, he is generally asleep within minutes, wakes happier and if he wakes in the night is able to self sooth! I don't think that we will ever feel well rested again (ha!) but it is amazing to get 6-7 hours of sleep in a row! Thanks so much, Christine! I had to work through so many of my own fears, but she was patient and supportive…
When I initially reached out to her, my son was about 6.5 months old was still nursing every 2 hours throughout the night and this naps were unreliable in terms of the time of day he’d go down and he usually only stayed asleep for about 20-45 minutes. I had come across information online regarding the amount of sleep he should be getting for his age and I became worried that he was falling way short! I started to do some research and understand the importance of bedtimes routines, giving him an earlier bedtime and breaking the dependence on nursing to sleep. However, I had tremendous fear of using any type of “Cry It Out Method” and made my own attempts to use a Pick Up/Put Down Method. My attempts to remedy the situation just resulted in bedtimes becoming a cry-fest for at least an hour before I gave in and decided to nurse him to sleep anyway. At this point, I was feeling very guilty and confused.
Christine was EXTREMELY patient and giving of her time with me! In the end, I joked with her that I was the “never-ending client”! Many things came up between the start of our time together and the conclusion of our work including teething, illness, and feeding issues.
I had to work through so many of my own fears, but she was patient and supportive-giving me the time I needed to be ok with the process so that when I went into it, I had the best shot of being consistent with my chosen method.
Throughout the process, she was a cheerleader and a guide. My son’s situation was a challenging one and he had such a large sleep debt built up, we had to trouble shoot different things along the way. There’s no way I could’ve gone through this process without guidance and support. We were in touch multiple times a day and I never felt like I was floundering to have to figure out how to interpret the sleep plan on my own. She went above and beyond to help make sure things were sorted out with my son’s sleep patterns before we ended the training period.
I quickly gained balance back in my life and my son is sleeping sooooo much better! He sleeps through the night and also gets all his naptime needs met during the day! I feel like I definitely did the right thing by him to give him the time and space he needed to learn to self-soothe. I was so afraid to let him cry for any length of time, but in the first night, he was asleep within 30 minutes!
Making the investment in sleep training with Christine was well worth the money and it taught me so much about sleep science. I fully believe this was the biggest gift I could’ve given him for his happiness and development. My heart goes out to all the babies who are struggling to get their needs met and to the mom’s whose messages I read about their children being poor sleepers. I’m convinced that self-soothing is a skill babies can learn and any child can make successful improvements to their sleep schedule with the help and guidance of Christine. My son made a complete turn around and I never would’ve believed things could be as easy as they are now until I experienced it for myself. Christine is not only a sleep consultant but a cheerleader when you need it! She is full of knowledge and full of hope! I was so reluctant to ask for help to help my little man sleep...I thought sleep was just something that happened! But I so needed the help! My little man, Elliott, was severely colic when he was born, hated being put down, could not lay down after he ate due to throwing up and needed to be in my arms ALL the time! We resorted to co-sleeping just to get any sleep, but that ended up causing more problems and more attachment issues. We had to rock Elliott to get him to sleep, and then he would only nap 30 minutes at a time. He would wake anywhere from 2-4 times a night to be fed or rocked or cuddled and he would always end up in bed with us because I was so sleep deprived. My sister in law recommended Christine and I was worried. Could a woman I don't know really get my little man to sleep on his own? YES, SHE CAN! My little man now sleeps 11-12 hours a night, and takes two, 1-hour naps during the day! I can finally rest when I get the chance between my jobs! He is so much happier when he gets good rest and we now spend more time playing than being fussy! I Knew I Needed Help!
Contacting Bella Luna Sleep Consulting was honestly one of the best decisions I have ever made. I am a first time Mom (my son, Cannon, is 9 months old) and I have been blessed to be able to breastfeed exclusively. As much as I love breastfeeding and the bond we share, I didn’t love breastfeeding every hour on the hour throughout the night. I was sleep deprived and desperate and knew I needed help.
I am happy to say that we have successfully night weaned and my son is SLEEPING THROUGH THE NIGHT! Christine not only educated my husband and I but she also provided the support we needed to make this positive yet challenging change in our lives. Christine put us on a plan that started working in 3 days. By the end of the first week I was sleeping 6-8 hours a night in the same bed as my husband. By the middle of the second week, I had the time and energy to go back to the gym. I know have a happy, independent 11-month-old, a better relationship with my husband, and my identity back. The Whole Process Was So Much Easier Than We Could Have Imagined
Our baby was 8 months and “sleeping” in a co-sleeper beside our bed. She was waking up every few minutes and we were giving her a pacifier or milk. We were not sleeping. We work full time and were zombies at work. Our friends with twins recommended Christine and we signed up immediately. Going through the intake process was illuminating because I got in touch with how scared I was to no longer have her in the bedroom with us and how we hadn’t actually switched strategies since she was a newborn. Our first step was to wean her from night feeding. It took one night. Our second step was to move her into her bedroom and begin the sleep training. It took two nights and she never had to cry consecutively for more than 5 minutes. Turns out that our fears and inexperience were getting in the way of the family getting sleep because our baby was ready. Now after a month of sleep every night and resuming date nights (because she sleeps from 6:30-6:30 straight!) we know it was the best decision. Christine held our hands the whole way and was empathic and encouraging. Naps for our baby were a bit more tricky to figure out and my husband and I would panic text her throughout the day and she would always respond with a solution and a bit of cheerleading. We highly recommend Christine, the whole process was so much easier than we could’ve imagined. Sleep training is one aspect of our parenting that we feel most proud of. Thanks, Christine!
